The new global umbrella brand for a global market leader

Zwiesel Kristallglas, a worldwide successful manufacturer from the Bavarian Forest of premium glasses for the gastronomy and hotel industry, has been combining glass craftsmanship and sophisticated tableware for over 150 years. The newly developed umbrella brand Zwiesel Glas is a significant step towards the future for the company. It addresses both end consumers and business customers alike from the hotel and gastronomy sector and represents the Zwiesel Kristallglas, Zwiesel 1872 and Schott Zwiesel brands comprehensively.

The distinct sound of true hospitality can be heard when you toast with Zwiesel Glas - the musical note represents the new ZWIESEL GLAS trademark celebrating hospitality and appreciation. The letter Z in the logo stands for simplicity and illustrates the manufacturing expertise and accuracy of the company's glassmakers. The basis for the corporate design and corporate language is the new positioning, which has also become the claim: "For those who care".

Professor Andreas Buske, CEO of Zwiesel Glas, consciously chose KW43 because of its sensitivity to the established culture of traditional brands such as Montblanc and Langenscheidt.

"We are particularly proud of not having invented but rather transformed the true core of the brand and the company into a distinctive brand design," explains Professor Rüdiger Goetz, Managing Director of KW43 Branddesign. "'For those who care' expresses the passion of hosts and gastronomers who, with great attention to detail, offer the very best for their guests."

We at ZWIESEL have always been committed not just to glass, but to what glass makes possible - using the highest levels of manufacturing and craftsmanship to create unique products that create extraordinary experiences of enjoyment and community," adds Maike Sobek, Vice President Marketing, Product & Communications at Zwiesel Glas.
